Cancer Services Volunteer - Cayuga Hematology and Oncology - Fall 2026

Located at Cayuga Park and Cayuga Medical Center East Campus

Support individuals and families affected by cancer by offering connection, comfort, and a welcoming presence. As a Cancer Services Volunteer, you help ensure that no patient or loved one feels alone by providing companionship, sharing resource information, and assisting with day-to-day needs on the unit. Your role contributes to a warm, supportive environment for all who visit.

Cancer Services Volunteers:

• Greet incoming patients and guests
• Connect with patients and their loved ones, offering companionship and support
• Serve as a welcoming and reassuring presence in the community
• Educate patients about cancer related resources available throughout the community
• Restock supply room
• Prepare and offer snacks and drinks for patient
