Offer comfort and connection through live music for patients, families, and staff. The Clinical Soundscapes Initiative at Cayuga Medical Center brings soothing, therapeutically informed musical experiences to those facing hospitalization. Volunteer musicians help create a calming, adaptive environment that reduces stress and supports emotional well‑being. This program complements medical care by addressing the human side of healing through presence, artistry, and compassion.
Pianists may use the baby grand piano located in the main lobby. Other musical volunteers must play their own musical instrument.
