Physical Therapy Volunteer - Cortland - Spring 2026

Gain meaningful insight into our Physical Therapy program while supporting patients and therapists throughout their rehabilitation journey. As a Physical Therapy Volunteer, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals with diverse specialties, giving you the opportunity to observe a variety of treatment plans and contribute to a supportive, patient‑centered environment. Your assistance with daily tasks helps keep the department running smoothly and enhances the overall patient experience.  

Physical Therapy Volunteers:

• Greet patients and create a welcoming environment
• Assist with basic day‑to‑day departmental functions
• Help with laundry to support smooth operations
• Wipe down equipment between patient uses
• Provide simple patient instructions as directed by staff
• Prepare and distribute patient packets
• Engage with patients throughout their therapy and rehabilitation journey
