Volunteer: Gift Shop Volunteer

As a Gift Shop volunteer, you serve as a welcoming presence, helping visitors find the perfect item to bring comfort and connection to someone they care about. This role is vital in transforming a simple shopping experience into a source of connection by providing warmth and guidance. Training on using payment systems is provided.

Volunteer: Pet Therapy Volunteer

Share comfort, joy, and connection with patients through visits with your certified therapy dog. Our Pet Therapy Volunteers partner with accredited organizations—such as Therapy Dogs International, PAWS for Friendship, or Cornell Companions—to bring uplifting moments to those who need it most. Once your dog is evaluated, registered, and credentialed through an approved program, we’ll guide you through onboarding and help you prepare for your first meaningful visit.

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and families at the Skilled Nursing Facility. Long Term Care Volunteers play an important role in supporting the Activities Director and helping daily programs run smoothly. You’ll assist with a variety of enriching activities—such as crafts, bingo, parties, group discussions, movies, music programs, church services, concerts, and games—contributing to a warm, engaging environment for residents.  

Long Term Care Volunteers:

Assist with setup and clean‑up of activity areasSupport activity programs according to a pre‑set scheduleHelp with light housekeeping tasks within the activity space Rearrange tables and seating for activities and meals
